Powering Africa Summit

The 11th Powering Africa Summit (PAS) will be returning to Washington, D.C. on 19–20 March 2026. Save the date.

PAS 2025 marked a major milestone—the Summit’s 10th anniversary—held under the theme “The Future of the US–Africa Energy Partnership.” The event welcomed the Honourable U.S. Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, who delivered a keynote address and joined a fireside chat on the evolving US–Africa relationship. Vice Presidents and Honourable Ministers from across Africa also joined, as the new U.S. administration engaged directly with African energy leaders through high-level discussions and intimate roundtables.

Building on this momentum, PAS 2026 will convene under the theme “Powering the US–Africa Partnership: Energy Infrastructure, Critical Minerals & Investment Strategies.” We are pleased to welcome back Sun Africa as Summit Sponsor.

The Summit is a premier annual platform for dialogue and collaboration, bringing together U.S. government leaders, institutional investors, private financiers, and technology providers with African Ministers of Energy, Finance and Mineral Resources, regulators, utility leaders, and heads of transmission and distribution companies.

While PAS 2025 explored expectations surrounding U.S. foreign policy under a new administration, PAS 2026 will take stock of the past year—examining what has delivered, what has shifted, and what it means for banks, investors, and energy stakeholders across Africa.

Africa Energy Forum 2026

‘Building Africa’s Industrialised Future’ – from the UAE’s rapid industrialisation to the impacts of the Middle East becoming the largest investor in Africa, aef returns to Dubai this year.

The Africa Energy Forum will take place from 16-19 June, 2026 in Dubai, UAE.

Africa is done being framed by deficit. At the Africa Energy Forum (aef) 2026, the conversation shifts from access as an endpoint to power as an enabler of industry, growth and scale.

This is about what it takes to industrialise: reliable baseload, modern grids, diversified energy systems and hard infrastructure built to run factories, data centres and fast-growing cities—24/7. From Dubai, a city shaped by pragmatic ambition, aef 2026 champions an African energy narrative grounded in delivery, growth and a just transition that works for Africa.

Building Africa’s Industrialised Future starts here.
