The Zimbabwe Ministry of Energy and Power Development officially supported and participated in the Zimbabwe-Zambia Energy Projects Summit in 2025, reinforcing the event’s role as the leading platform for cross-border energy investment and collaboration between Zimbabwe and Zambia.
The 2025 edition, held under the theme “Mines and Energy: How Stakeholders have Fast-Tracked Private Sector Projects to Become Africa’s Top Investment Destination,” was the largest Zimbabwe-Zambia Energy Projects Summit since its launch. It brought together senior representatives from government ministries, utilities, regulators, investors, financiers and project developers to accelerate renewable energy development, modernise grid infrastructure and expand energy access across both countries, with a focus on advancing projects towards financial close while mitigating risk.
Building on that momentum, the third Zimbabwe-Zambia Energy Projects Summit will take place from 03–05 November 2026 at the Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya, Livingstone Resort. Located within Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park on the banks of the Zambezi River and close to Victoria Falls, the venue will once again host key public and private sector stakeholders as they continue to drive investment and project delivery across the region.
