Frequently Asked Questions
At the Africa Energy Forum (aef) 2026, the conversation shifts from access as an endpoint to power as an enabler of industry, growth and scale.
This is about what it takes to industrialise: reliable baseload, modern grids, diversified energy systems and hard infrastructure built to run factories, data centres and fast-growing cities, 24/7. From Dubai, a city shaped by pragmatic ambition, aef 2026 champions an African energy narrative grounded in delivery, growth and a just transition that works for Africa.
Building Africa’s Industrialised Future starts here.
Ministers, regulators, developers, investors and many more attend the forum with a shared focus on delivering tangible progress for Africa’s energy future.
Why?
Networking opportunities, discovering new projects, attending sessions with high level speakers, panel discussions, many exhibitors to meet, potential excursions and exciting side events such as The Africa Challenge Cup that took place at aef 2025 in Cape Town.
