POWERING AFRICA’S FUTURE

Founded in 2004, Anergi is a diversified power company that develops, owns, and operates power assets across sub-Saharan Africa. The company is focused on delivering reliable, sustainable energy solutions that support long-term economic growth and development across the continent.

Anergi’s portfolio comprises six power generation assets in both operation and construction, producing a combined capacity of 1,518 MW across thermal and renewable technologies. These assets span five countries: Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Sierra Leone.  Anergi’s strong expertise is in the utility scale on-grid projects space. In 2025 however, we entered the distributed commercial and industrial (C&I) supply market with the creation of the DEL joint venture to supply power and gas fuel to businesses in Nigeria.

Anergi is wholly owned by Harith InfraCo Ltd and the Pan-African Infrastructure Development Fund 2 (PAIDF-2), managed by Harith General Partners, a leading pan-African infrastructure fund manager and investor. The company is underpinned by a strong financial position, committed shareholders, and an experienced management team with a proven track record in project development and execution. Anergi’s in-house development capability remains central to the growth and optimisation of its portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to delivering lasting impact across Africa.
