Accessibility at Africa Energy Forum 2025

At Africa Energy Forum accessibility is important — helping to provide an enjoyable event for everyone. We aim to make all events as accessible and as inclusive as possible. If you cannot find the information you need on this page or on our website, please let us know.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

Aef has chosen the CTICC as our event venue. The CTICC is equipped with various features to ensure comfort, safety and ease of access for all clients and guests. Wheelchair ramps and wheelchair-accessible elevators can be found throughout both buildings.

WHEELCHAIR HIRE

The venue has a limited stock of wheelchairs available to hire. In order to hire one please visit the main reception. You will be required to provide an ID number or passport in order to hire it.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

Accessible parking bays are available in Car park P3 underneath the CTICC 1 building. There are limited accessible bays here, offered on a first come first serve basis.

VISUAL ASSISTANCE

All elevators are equipped with braille-inclusive buttons and voice-prompt facilities.

HEARING ASSISTANCE

We are investigating options for support with those who are hard of hearing. If you require these facilities, please contact us at events@energynet.co.uk for more information.

ASSISTANCE ANIMALS

Registered guide dogs and emotional service support animals (trained and registered) are permitted into the CTICC without the prior management consent. We advise you to let us know in advance if you plan to bring an assistance animal so we can ensure a smooth arrival.

Please be aware that welfare facilities for support animals are not available onsite, and all owners will be fully responsible for the actions of their animal, which will need to be kept under control and on a lead or harness or in a pet carrier.

TOILETS

Disabled-friendly toilet facilities are available throughout the Centre. These will be clearly marked on the show floorplan.

All separate, accessible toilet facilities are unisex.

 MEDICAL SUPPORT

Throughout the event open hours there will be trained medics onsite available to support anyone in case of an emergency. The medical room is located at the entrance to Hall 2 and will be clearly marked on the event floorplan or please just contact a member of security or event staff who can direct you.

CLOAKROOM

The venue cloakroom is located on a basement level accessible by stairs. A staff member will be available at all times to assist individuals who may need support accessing the area.

PRAYER ROOM

An onsite prayer room is available for all to use next to the aef cloakroom.

If you have any further accessibility requirements, please email aef@energynet.co.uk
