YES! Nigeria – Empowering Today’s Entrepreneurs, Building Tomorrow’s Industrialists is coming to Abuja on 19 November 2026 at the Transcorp Hilton, as part of Nigeria NOW!

With nearly 70% of Nigeria’s population under 30, YES! will bring students together with entrepreneurs, industry leaders and innovators to explore opportunities in energy, AI, technology, financial innovation and entrepreneurship, and how young people can play a greater role in Nigeria’s future.

The programme will feature keynote addresses from Honourable Dayo Israel, National Youth Leader, APC, and Omobolade Oghiadomhe, Chief of Staff, Nigeria, Flutterwave, alongside inspiring success stories from YES! alumni and young entrepreneurs, offering students practical insights, new connections and opportunities beyond the classroom.

We are pleased to be working with Abuja University, Philomath University and the Youth Sustainable Development Network to support this initiative and encourage more young people to get involved.

Access the 2025 Post Summit Report

YES! 2025

YES! was created in response to a pressing demographic reality: nearly half of the continent’s population lacked access to electricity. By 2050, Africa is projected to have the world’s largest working-age population, with its youth population (ages 15–24) expected to exceed 830 million. To keep pace with this rapid growth, the continent would need to generate 1.5 million new jobs every month – a demand that is expected to continue rising.

The YES! mission was to accelerate electrification across the continent while unlocking jobs at scale by engaging 10% of the population. At its core was the effort to build a 100-million-strong youth network through partnerships with industry leaders, governments, global institutions, and education organisations.
