GOGLA

GOGLA is the global off-grid solar association. We convene companies, investors, partners and governments to expand access to clean, affordable energy where it is needed most, representing a sector with over $100 billion in market potential.

Drawing on our data and insights, we influence policy, unlock finance and strengthen the off-grid solar industry, supporting jobs and economic opportunity in underserved communities.

Off-grid solar is already a critical part of Africa’s energy future, delivering rapid, cost-effective solutions that complement grid expansion and enable inclusive economic growth. As a member of the Mission 300 Private Sector Council, GOGLA champions the role of off-grid and distributed renewable energy solutions in achieving African countries’ energy access goals.

Worldwide, more than 560 million people use off-grid solar solutions as a reliable and cost-effective energy choice to power homes, businesses, farms, schools and clinics, driving productivity, electrifying enterprise and strengthening local economies.

GOGLA works with our members and partners to scale this impact to Power 1 Billion Lives Now.
